Hypnobirthing Specialist & Clinical Hypnotherapist

For the last 25 years I have work with patients and their relatives within the NHS in both clinical and non clinical roles.  I am a Mother of two daughters and the birth of my youngest daughter really began my  journey into Hypnotherapy, I was fortunate enough to have what I can only describe as the most magical water birth, drug free with the aid of relaxation techniques.  From then I began to research the power of the mind over pain really for my own interests.

Unfortunately in 2010 My husband and father of my girls died suddenly in traumatic circumstances and again I found seeking the help of hypnotherapy helped us through our journey of grief, to a place of resolve and the ability to cope with the loss in a positive way. I then trained as a Clinical hypnotherapist and then a Hypnobirthing specialist.  I now feel so honoured that I am able to teach couples techniques that will aid the very best possible birth story that they can achieve.

Hypnobirthing Specialist & Clinical Hypnotherapist

Hi I’m Barbara, I am a specialist in Hypnobirthing Antenatal and a Clinical Hypnotherapist who has worked with people nearly all my life.

As a mum of 3 children, I know how important it is to have the right kind of support when your pregnant and giving birth. I was lucky enough to be taught relaxation techniques by a friend which had a real positive impact on my last birth. From this I wanted to teach other parents that they can also feel empowered and in control of their birth too.

I have worked in mental health for many years including a private mother and baby unit supporting new mums. I am passionate about volunteering for charities which have included ‘The Samaritans’ ‘Family Link’ and ‘Parent Line’ to name just a few.

HypnoBirthing Specialist & Clinical Hypnotherapist

Hi I’m Danielle, I am a specialist in HypnoBirthing, a clinical Hypnotherapist and live in Kent with my beautiful 5 year old daughter Paige.

I had always wanted to work with babies and children and I felt what can be more rewarding than helping pregnant couples bring life into the world calmly and beautifully?

So I immediately booked onto a teacher training course accredited by the Royal College of Midwives with Katharine Graves (founder of The HypnoBirthing Centre) Now here I am giving all the knowledge I’ve learned to couples and groups across Kent and Sussex and them giving birth to little HypnoBambinos!

I can honestly say apart from being a mother, it is the most rewarding job I’ve ever had.

First Aid Trainer - Founder of Set Skills

My name is Sam Coomber, and I am the founder of South East Training Skills.  I am passionate about educating and empowering people to be able to save lives.  Learning should be fun and I aim for my courses to be interactive, lively and set in a relaxed atmosphere.  The courses are made to feel as realistic as possible and understanding how people learn through different techniques is an important key to learners getting the best out of their courses.  I don’t believe that training is about standing in front of students and talking at them.  My goal is for all of my students to leave the course feeling confident that they can help someone who is ill or injured.  It’s always satisfying to see students gain confidence through training in a hands on environment.
Being a mum means I also have relevant and ‘hands-on’ experience of dealing with risks and first aid for babies and children.  I have an enhanced DBS disclosure (previously CRB) and am confident working with children and adults of all ages!  As a parent I understand the worries we have when our children are ill or injured. Because of this I decided to run Family First Aid courses. Not only do I teach how to deal with injury and illness, but I work with parents/staff to try to avoid some of the day to day occurrences. We can’t wrap our children in cotton wool, but if we can see things through our children’s eyes we might see potential dangers.
With over 20 years of experience in first aid and health & safety, and have worked in relevant positions for Kent Police and a Kent Preparatory School, amongst other places.  I have carried out extensive training in this field, and am fully qualified to carry out first aid and health & safety, as well as train and qualify others to do so.  I work in association with Nuco Training, where I gained my qualifications to become an instructor and assessor.  I also deliver courses for other training companies if they need a hand.
One of my long-term goals is to try to get as many children to learn first aid and to teach them how to stay safe in an emergency.  It really is a skill for life to save a life.

Maternity and Baby Photographer

Hello, my name’s Janet and as well as being a photographer, I am a mum to two wonderful boys. This fact might not
matter if I didn’t photograph newborns. As it is, I can remember precisely how fiercely protective and emotionally vulnerable I was when I had my boys. Those first six weeks seemed both to last forever and to pass in a blur. Babies seem to change constantly,
you’re just getting used to one stage and they’ve moved on to the next – sometimes it’s hard to keep up!

Hushabye creates beautiful, timeless and classic photography, which captures you while you’re pregnant and your baby,
from those precious first weeks of their life all the way up to their first birthday. I feel blessed to be able to meet so many new people and parents at such an emotional, exhilarating and exhausting time in their lives.
