Product of the month
As part of a new venture working with HypnoBambinos, Penny from Health Visitor 4U will be reviewing up to 3 new and innovative products for parents baby’s and children.
There is so much constantly coming on to the market which we may often miss in our busy lives. I often see something and think “if only that had been available when my children were young” or “What a fantastic idea that will change my life” Well, that is what I am going to try to do for you. Source the products that I think may be worth a try and could possibly be life changing. And if any of you have come across a product that you think is a winner please let me know and I can put it in to the review.
This month product is:
DRY LIKE ME
I recently went to visit a client of mine at home who has a 3 year old girl and baby boy of 5 months. Her little girl is toilet trained during the day but night times were a bit hit and miss. Sometimes dry and sometimes not. Mum mentioned she had come across the dry like me pads and was using them at night and finding them so much more convenient and cheaper than using a nappy. And her little girl found them so much more comfortable and seemed to get less concerned if she did have a little accident. She is quite a grown up girl and I think seeing her baby brother in nappies she did not want to be likened to him. She wanted to be like mummy.
To look at they are like a small sanitary towel or Tena Lady. It seems a bit weird but they do ultimately serve the same purpose. They are not designed to replace a nappy but to mop up those little leaks and accidents whiter so common in toddlers in the early stages of toilet training. I think they are a welcome addition as an aid to toilet training and may reduce a lot of stress for child and parent.
“Dry Like Me Liners really gave way to independence at bedtime when nappies no longer fitted but a little extra protection was needed. My daughter felt grown up and more encouraged to use the toilet before bedtimeto prevent ‘leaks’ Recommend them to every mum I meet” Natalie Mum to Hannah and Jack
DRY LIKE ME pads are available at leading retailers and online.
